Outreach compliance

Partners resell outbound work under their own brand, which means our practices become their exposure. This page states how the outreach is actually run, so a partner can answer their client's compliance question without asking us first.

Where contact data comes from

Prospect lists are built from publicly published business contact information — company websites, public business directories and business listing data — and from contacts a client supplies from their own records. We do not purchase consumer marketing lists, and we do not scrape personal or residential contact data.

Every list is delivered to the client with its source noted, so the origin of any given contact can be traced after the fact.

Email outreach

Suppression

A global suppression list runs across every campaign we operate, for every client. Once an address lands on it, it stays. It is fed by:

Suppression is applied before a campaign is sent, not after.

SMS and phone

SMS is sent only to numbers that have given prior express consent to be contacted by the client — typically a lead who submitted a form or an existing customer relationship. We do not send SMS to purchased or scraped numbers, and STOP handling is automatic.

Partners reselling SMS should confirm with their client where the consent came from before the first send. If that record does not exist, the campaign should be run as email-only.

Social platforms

Social outreach and publishing run within each platform's own terms and published rate limits. Where a platform restricts automated connection requests or messaging, we work inside that restriction rather than around it.

Data handling

WhatHow it is handled
Client and prospect dataUsed only to run that client's campaigns. Never resold, never shared between clients, never used to build a general marketing database.
AccessLimited to the operators assigned to that account.
DeletionOn written request from the client or partner, we delete the campaign data we hold for that account and confirm in writing.
SubprocessorsSending, storage and enrichment run on third-party infrastructure. A current list is provided to partners on request.

If a recipient complains

Complaints are actioned the same day: the address is suppressed globally, the campaign is paused for review, and the partner is told what happened and what we changed. Partners are not left to discover it from their own client.

What a partner should tell their client

The short version, safe to repeat verbatim: contacts come from public business sources or the client's own records; every email carries a real sender identity, a postal address and a working unsubscribe; unsubscribes and complaints feed a permanent global suppression list; SMS goes only to numbers with prior consent; and campaign data is never shared or resold.

Legal terms are handled in the partner agreement. Jurisdiction-specific commitments, the data processing agreement and retention periods are set out in the signed partner agreement rather than on this page, because they vary by where the end client operates. Ask for them before your first campaign — write to support@ydygroup.com and we will send the current versions.
